Are watch icons separate from iPhone icons?
They live in the same AppIcon.appiconset in Xcode, but watchOS uses additional idiom entries. Our iOS export includes every watch slot Apple lists in the Asset Catalog.
What master image should I use?
Use a 1024×1024 px square with bold, simple shapes — fine detail disappears on a 44 mm watch face.
Do I need a separate watchOS target?
If your app includes a Watch app target, Xcode validates watch icon slots. Generate the full iOS set and merge into your catalog.
