By accessing or using App Asset Generator ("the Service", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by App Asset Generator for use by developers, designers, and others who need to generate app icons and resize screenshots or images.
Description of the Service
App Asset Generator provides free online tools to: (1) generate app icons for iOS and Android from a single image, in the correct folder structure for App Store and Google Play; (2) resize one or more images to official App Store and Google Play screenshot dimensions; and (3) resize one or more images to custom width and height. The Service is offered "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Use of the Service
You may use the Service for personal or commercial projects in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You agree that you will not:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of others.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use (e.g. images that violate copyright or trademark).
- Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to distribute malware or to harvest data about other users.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any images you submit. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Service.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the images you upload. By using the Service, you grant us only the limited right to process your files (e.g. resize, encode) as necessary to provide the functionality you request. We do not claim ownership of your content or the generated assets. The name "App Asset Generator", the site design, and our original code and content are our property. You may not use our branding or copy our service in a way that causes confusion without our permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output dimensions or formats will meet any particular store requirement. You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for verifying that generated assets meet the current requirements of Apple, Google, or other platforms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, App Asset Generator and its operators, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, revenue, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is zero for the free service). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless App Asset Generator and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
